Gordon Brown has an election.

It's election time, so I thought it would be a good opportunity to show you all my caricature of Mr Gordon Brown, the current prime minister of England.

I used Photoshit, a free image editor for children, and to colour it in a bit I used an optical mouse.

I find it incredibly easy to drawer carticatures of famous people who have a photograph on Google images. I think I've captured something very special about this popular public figure.

The drawing was hand shaded using the fill tool.

  1. So that's what the current prime minister of England looks like. No wonder the country's in such a mess. What happened to Parts of Scotland Excluding the Welsh? Do they have their own prime minister, or do they have to make do with a cartoon club instead?

  2. There are those who would argue that Westminster is little more than a cartoon club. Not me though - I'm not one for arguing.

That is a truly sensitive cartoon portrait (much nicer expression than the common caricature, don't you think?)of the English Prime Minister, and MP for Parts Of Scotland, Leonard. You certainly are extremely adept with Photoshit. I do believe you have exquisitely captured the anguish of a man soon to be out on his arse brilliantly good. I hope you might be persuaded to have a go at the other no-hopers that are queueing up for his house keys. Should be a fascinating study indeed, and a real change from Lulu.

Then again, Lulu for Prime Minister might not be a bad idea. She has the correct nationality for openers.

  3. The country is in a mess because he's a shit primeminister who has no common touch. Actually, for a talent free cartoon this is bloody good! C'mon, Len, standards are slipping!!

  4. I thought Scotland had a president. I'll have to do some further research.

Thanks Gerard. I simply used a photo from Google and traced it in Photoshit. It was incrediblely easy to do. I think I should do this for all my future cartoons, if you think it's that good.

  5. I really can't decide who to vote for in this election. I'm thinking of starting a poll on this website. Who should leonard vote for?

I can't see any policies designed to make life easier for struggling cartoonists or even article writers! As usual it seems the elderly and sick people get all the attention at election time.

  6. Wouldn't vote for any of them as they're all charlatans and vagabonds - and Macaroon has a head like a potato and 'funny' lips as my mum calls them. Some of the candidates wives though are something else. I'd definitely stick my cross against Mrs Clegg - aka Miriam Gonzalez Durantez. She's so divine - sigh. Miriam for PM I say! What say a picture of her on here, Leonard?

  7. Those aren't real, Gerard.

I'm going to vote BNP this time. Those British Naturists need all the support they can get.

  8. I agree, Steve. Also see Leonard's post 'Summer is here already'; they'll have to be careful if they don't want to end up with sunburnt botties.

  10. I once had a sunburnt hottie. Actually, she wasn't so much of a hottie once she started peeling.

I left her in duty free.

  11. If you don't know, Gerard, you're obviously not getting the same pictures of I am when I type "Miriam Gonzalez Durantez" into Google Images.
