What a smashing first post Paul. Really well done. I think this cartoon is fare superior to many I've seen. I think it would make a great mothers day card, or even a tea towel.

The dog excrement is especially well drawn. I think someone should help Paul achieve a high Google ranking for the term "shit cartoonist". Would this be easily achieved?
That sounds very reasonable. I'm sure there will be a clamour of artists wishing to be known as "shit cartoonists".
