Election 2010 TV Debate.

I am often asked who I would vote for in the next election, which is going to be very soon (may, I think). This will decide who is going to be the next Prime Minister of England. Tonight there is a live TV debate on the TV tonight in which all the future prime ministers will get a chance to argue with each other and make the others look a bit shit. Who will  turn out to look the less shittest? Only that can be decided by the viewers. I think there's going to be a phone vote at the end. I'm watching it right now, but I haven't seen Ant & Dec OR Phillip Scofeild as yet.

  1. I missed it, due to my hair, and curling tongs, and stuff, but I watched a rerun of Newsnight in iPlayer in the early hours of the morning, most of which I slept through. I do remember them getting very excited about a website where yo can choose either Brown or Cameron in a boxing match, to beat the crap out of the other guy. Who says serious journalism is dead, eh? Apparently, Clegg won the first round by a mile though, which is interesting - he's come a long way since Last Of The Summer Wine.

Incisive cartoon, as per, Leonard - surgical precision!

  2. Thank you Mr Bright. I'm thinking that this sort of cartoon could influence the election result greatly. I'm sending it off to some publishers today.

Do you know the email address of The Weekly News, or Take a Break magazine?

  3. Yes, I think that this political cartoon is the kind of thing which changes history. Just be careful if a fascist dictatorship gets into power, though, because they're in the habit of chopping the heads off of influential cartoonists, or making them work at McDonalds.

  4. Sounds good to me, Cathy - which ones are they again? The fewer influential cartoonists around, the more rich pickings for us. Where do I put my cross?

  5. I think it's the British Naturist party again, Steve, the ones with the sunburnt botties. I once voted for the dibbly-dum-dum tree, but it didn't work.

  6. I hadn't looked at the British Naturist Party in that light before, Cathy. Excellent!
