Mr Bright's Bloggage.

Wonderful news this week. The delightful Mr Bright (sometimes commentator on this very blog) has started his very own blog. He calls it Brightys Bloggage, which is very amusing. So far it's a little dissapointing, with only 2 posts in two days. Hopefully, as time goes on he'll decide to take his blogging a little more seriously.

Not that many pictures on the blog as yet, but some really interesting short stories about a cartoonist that used to work for DC Thompson, and the Publishers of The Beano. What an imagination that Mr Bright has!!!

He's a screen shot of the site:

You can find the site here:

  1. Is that the same Brighty who leaves his non-talent-free cartoons on here from time to time, and also accuses me of doing the same? (Pure fabrication on his part, I assure you).

Because I'm wondering if all this stuff about how he knows that artist who used to work for DC comics and stuff - I think he's just pretending to know someone, and really he did it all himself when he thought nobody was looking.

I'm still not sure it qualifies as talent free, you know.

  2. Thank you for your kind comment Jo, and your interesting link to your interesting site.

I'm sure Mr Bright will be delighted to see that I've got the recognition I deserve for his lovely website/blog.

  3. Leondar, I couldn't be more pleased, nor indeed honoured. To have my self-indulgent folly highlighted on Talent Free is awesome. I can't begin to tell you how much it means to me. I promise to blog about TF in return in the very near future. Meanwhile, big, slobbery, manly backslaps to you, kind sir.

By contrast, Cathy, I am cut to the quick by your scurrilous allegations, and can only put it down to some form of insane jealousy on your part, that the Talent Free ethos obviously comes far more naturally to me than you. Deal with it, woman - it will only eat you up in the long run.

  4. But you haven't even put anything talent free on here, Steve! I jolly well have, and it wasn't easy, I can tell you!

  5. Aren't my talent free replies enough?

  6. Mr Bright, please don't loose hope. I'm sure if you keep trying really badly you'll be able to produce something really talent free one day.

Have you tried it with your left hand (or right hand if you are right handed?) Close your eyes, perhaps? Only draw while sneezing? There must be something you can do?

  7. Mr Brighty - have you tried working in low light, without wearing your spectacles, using a mouse to draw with rather than your graphics tablet? Using the mouse is optional - I sometimes get Tootsie to draw mine, so type of rodent doesn't seem to be important.

  8. Thanks - I'll give all of those suggestions a try, probably at the same time.
